I've speedran? Spedrunned? Spedran? Whatever, I've done multiple speedruns of this game just because of how convenient this mode is. This is something I'd love to have in games like hollow knight or shovel knight or cuphead, so even dummys like me can speedrun they're favorite games without having to even stream or setup anything. Basically everything you need to speedrun a game, but without the setup, and instead the convenience of a mode. It also times you, counts your death, tallys up your times, and seperates your times into specific levels, and compares your times with previous runs. you can not only change the entire game, so you can play without cut scenes, or play with hard mode, or only play with certain items, or just certain things that basically let you speedrun the game any way you want to.

Another thing I like about this game is that once you beat it, there's a speedrunning mode which after using, makes me think that all platformer games should have this mode. Obviously this results in tons and tons of deaths throughout the game, but at least to me, it never TOO ragey. The game encourages you to experiment with how you go about a level, with branching paths, explosive and non explosive items, and different obstacles that can either make or break your entire plan. Which really makes you use the fact that you have an endless amount of lives to your advantage. Because depending on which you choose, you could be caught, trapped, cornered, or open for attacking. So many ways of dodging a simple projectile, and all of these ways change how you kill an enemy, and even how you approach the entire level. You can hit it with your sword and have it ricochet at the enemy, you can cancel it out by throwing an item at it, you can Dodge roll through it, or you could simply just slow down time and jump over the bullet. But there are multiple ways to Dodge a bullet. These guys can aim, and fire fast (yknow, like a gun) and again, everything is 1 hit. Take for instance, an an enemy with a simple gun. Everything is 1 hit, including yourself, (the only exception being bosses) the ai notices you at completely distances, and there are multiple ways to Dodge seemingly every attack. Whenever I rage in games, I always say to myself "how was I possibly supposed to react to that?" Or, "that's not fair, he has ". (Unless you want to watch the clip over and over and over again) this game is also really fair. This game is hard, so whenever you pull off an impossible chain of combos and movements, you look and feel like a god, without having to screen record your switch. And the fact that you get a replay after every part of a level doesn't help that. The controls are super responsive, it's easy to play but hard to master, and. As an assassin working for a vague and possibly governmental organization, you slowly uncover you past trauma as a drugged war machine. The story follows a veteran solider who fought and used his future seeing and time slow in abilities to his advantage, along with many other super powered soldiers similar to this one. you can use a sword, throw items, and briefly slow down time. Kremlin: this is a stealth platformer game where you have to kill every enemy in an area that progress. even the description barely hints at a deep story. But most just give you the idea that it's an intense stealth platformer with some nice vaporwave aesthetics and cool graphics. In some of the footage that was shown, you could maybe gather an idea that the game has a deeper story than initially let on. Everything about it made me think, maybe not in the first part, but as the game went on I really started to appreciate how the game subverts your expectations from watching all its trailers. Hours of sleep lost due to contemplation and racing thoughts about a game where you basically play as ringo roadagain from steel ball run. I went in, expecting a fun game with some over the top action story that wasn't really bad, but at the same time didn't really matter. It looked insanely fun and I had never seen or played a stealth platformer like this before.

But recently, I got really upset that I couldn't transfer my switch funds to my 3ds (because my dumbass forgot my Nintendo ID and there was seemingly no way of recovering it) so I decided to buy a game I had my mind on ever since I first saw it. In fact, 2 of my favorite games, Hollow knight and Shovel knight, are both indie games. They always have so much love, charm, and thought put into them. Kremlin: you guys may or may not know this, but I absolutely love indie games. "The background has nothing to do with the post, but damn it looks good!"
